Built on the gym floor, not in a catalogue.
Rental shoes are the first thing a new climber puts on and the last thing most brands think about. We run three gyms. We know what a rental pair goes through in a year, and we know what makes a first-timer come back. So we built one shoe and put everything into it.

Shaped by thirteen years of rentals
Equilibrium opened India's first climbing gym in 2013. Everything in the rental last, the strap placement and the rubber choice comes from watching thousands of beginners size up, climb and hand pairs back.

Direct from the maker
Designed and made in India, sold straight to gyms. No distributor margin in the middle, which is how a customised pair stays affordable enough to buy for a whole fleet.

Equilibrium Climbing Station opened in Bangalore in 2013 as India's first climbing gym. The EQ Rental is what happens when a gym operator finally builds the shoe it always wanted to hand across the desk.

One rental shoe gyms can make their own, made in India, launched to the industry at Vertical Pro.
We are not a shoe company that discovered gyms. We are a gym that got tired of rentals looking like an afterthought, and decided to make the pair ourselves.
